The "Cosmic Necropolis" East Balkan Tour features the German sci-fi melodic black metal band Vorga touring alongside the UK black metal group Sidious.

Charting a course into the void since 2016 by founding member Atlas while living in Scotland, the band became a fully realised outfit once he moved to Germany. With members from the UK, Bulgaria and Germany the multinational outfit got to work recording their initial offering ‘Radiant Gloom’.

After releasing the EP in 2019, they quickly caught the attention of Vendetta Records (releasing it on vinyl), Folkvangr Records (releasing it on cassette) and Transcending Obscurity Records who the band were quickly signed to.

Following up their debut EP, Vorga returned with an absolutely scintillating full length titled ‘Striving Toward Oblivion’ which expanded upon the music of their debut and took it to new heights, more powerful and streamlined than ever before.

On release, the record surpassed all expectations, recieving widespread critical acclaim and making many year end ‘best of’ lists.

Aside from the music the band have made a name for themselves with their striking depiction of futurstic, dystopian black metal. Adorned in UV corpsepaint and with an atmospheric and compelling light show, the band always leave a lasting impression on those who see them.

Sidious are an uncompromising black metal force from England. Established in 2012, the band play an infernal and unforgiving brand of black metal. In 2020, Sidious once again teamed up with renowned producer Russ Russell to record their third and pivotal album “Blackest Insurrection”.

The album was released through Clobber Records (March, 2022) and solidified their position as one of the most formidable live acts in the UK underground. In support of “Blackest Insurrection”, Sidious toured Europe with the mighty Azaghal (FI), alongside the notable Corpus Christii (PT) and Liber Null (IT/NL).

They have also toured the UK on a co-headline run with comrades Völniir (UK) with support from Andracca (UK) and gathered hordes of devoted fans along the way.

Sidious now storm ravenously towards recording their next release. Ahead of entering the studio this September, Sidious will play the renowned Reaper Festival and Darkness Over Cumbria Open Air Festival.

Sidious have shared the stage with: Belphegor, Bölzer, Hideous Divinity, Anaal Nathrakh, Hecate Enthroned, Fen, Ninkharsag, Necronautical, Abduction, The Infernal Sea, Paara and Evile.
